Ando Viet Enterprises' journey into the world of coffee roasting began in 2016 when co-founder Saurabh Dhaka visited Vietnam and experienced the diverse range of local traditional coffees in the central highlands. Inspired by the flavours and roasting techniques he encountered, Saurabh envisioned bringing this unique coffee experience to India.
In Vietnam, Saurabh observed a system where farmers sold their coffee crops to local roasters, who then processed and sold freshly roasted microlot coffee to the local market. This model resonated with him, and he decided to adopt a similar approach in India.
Ando Viet Enterprises' story revolves around directly sourcing the finest coffee beans from local farmers of Coorg, Karnataka. By eliminating middlemen, they aim to provide consumers with authentic, high-quality coffee while ensuring that coffee farmers receive fair prices for their crops. This direct trade model not only benefits the farmers but also allows Ando Viet Enterprises to offer their customers a more sustainable and ethical coffee experience.
